Our firm is participating within the framework of a commercial action organized by the Subsecretary of Investment Development and Commercial Promotion, jointly with the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation, and the cooperation of the Argentine Forum of Biotechnology (FAB) and the Argentine Chamber of Biotechnology, which is at the same time in line with the activities foreseen in the Program of Commercial Promotion and Development of External Markets of the Argentine Chancellery.

The BIO International Convention is the major worldwide biotechnology event. On this occasion it will bring together more than 15,000 industry professionals from over 65 countries with the purpose of learning, connecting, partnering and exploring cooperation possibilities.

During the course of April and May, BERKEN IP will participate in two major international IP events.

From April 10 to 12, we will be present at the IP Seminar of the Chinese Group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) that will be held in the city of Beijing. Next we will attend the 134º Annual Meeting of the International Trademark Association (INTA) that will develop from May 5 through 9 in Washington DC.

BERKEN IP is currently participating in different activities aimed at strengthening trade ties and promoting long-term reciprocal cooperation with Chinese counterparts.

On February, we were invited by CONICET to join the First Argentine Public-Private Tech Transfer and Innovation Mission to Asia, which was led by CONICET and consisted of delegates from INTA, MINCyT, Chancellery and technology-based argentine companies. The Chinese cities visited were Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing. In each of them, rounds of negotiations were carried out which allowed exchanging opinions, visions and understandings among the parties from both countries.

On the other hand, during the course of April our Firm shall take part in the Annual Seminar of the Chinese Group of the Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), which will have Beijing as venue. The Seminar promises to offer its participants key information on current intellectual property issues and outstanding networking opportunities.
